Setkić Appointed National President for Saudi Arabia

The Global Professional Tennis Coach Association (GPTCA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Aldin Setkić as the new GPTCA National President for Saudi Arabia.

Setkić currently serves as Head Coach of the Saudi Arabian Tennis Federation and has played a key role in the recent development and international success of Saudi tennis. Under his leadership, the Saudi Saudi Arabia Davis Cup Team achieved a historic milestone in 2024 by earning promotion to Davis Cup World Group II for the first time in the nation’s history.

In addition to this achievement, Setkić led the Saudi men’s team to a standout performance at the GCC Games in Bahrain in October 2024, where the team captured victories in both singles and doubles competitions.

With strong relationships across Saudi sport, including close cooperation with the leadership of the Saudi Tennis Federation and the Saudi Olympic Committee, Setkić is well positioned to support the mission of the Global Professional Tennis Coach Association in promoting coaching education and professional development within the Kingdom.

As GPTCA National President for Saudi Arabia, Setkić will work to strengthen the network of professional tennis coaches in the country and contribute to the continued growth of the sport in the region.
