Tournemire Appointed National President for France

The GPTCA is pleased to announce the appointment of Thierry Tournemire as National President for France.

With over 40 years of experience in coach education and high-performance tennis, Thierry brings exceptional expertise developed through his work with the French Tennis Federation and the French Ministry of Sports. Throughout his career, he has held key leadership roles, including Director of Executive Training Programs, Head Coach, and Director of Sports Development. He has also contributed internationally, serving as General Manager and Director of Performance at the renowned Rick Macci Tennis Academy in Florida.

Currently, Thierry serves as Director of Coaching and Head of the Training Center for the Centre-Val de Loire Tennis League, while continuing his role as a consultant to the French Ministry of Sports.

In his new role with GPTCA, Thierry will focus on developing coaching standards in France and launching GPTCA educational courses aimed at supporting the next generation of tennis coaches.
