Plans for 2013
The Global Professional Tennis Coaches Association (GPTCA) courses, certified by the ATP, are expected to start in the USA and Canada in 2013.
The first step of obtaining GPTCA membership and certification is completing the C-Level Course which will be available in March. For those who obtain C-Level certification, they can take the B-Level Course starting in September. These courses will be offered online through an internet based e-learning platform. This ensures ease and convenience of access to the course content and eliminates the need for travel to a specific location for training.
Upon completion of the course, including passing a required test for certification, participants will receive a certificate of achievement signed by the founding members of the GPTCA, Toni Nadal, Rainer Schuettler, Dirk Hordorff and Alberto Castellani. In addition, course participants will receive access to the GPTCA Certified logo for use on business cards and promotional materials.
Certified B-Level and C-Level Course participants will also be invited to attend additional training and networking events. Some of these events will be in-person courses taught by tour-level Coaches during upcoming ATP Tour events.
