Justine Henin appointed as National President of Belgium

The GPTCA is now represented in Belgium thanks to the appointment of its first-ever female National President, Justine Henin. The association will work closely with Justine Henin's elite academy, which will serve as the hub for current and future GPTCA members in Belgium. Special thanks to Daniel Meyers, founder of the Hope&Spirit Foundation, for making this partnership possible.

Justine Henin won seven Grand Slam tournaments during her amazing career and reached No. 1 in the WTA rankings. She came out victorious in the finals of the 2003 French Open and the 2003 US Open, and then again in the finals of the 2004 Australian Open. She also won the French Open three straight years, from 2005-2007, and won the US Open in 2007.

"It's a huge honour for me to take up this new role. I'm very passionate about improving the performance of coaches in Belgium and very much look forward to the challenges that lie ahead," Henin said upon signing the agreement.
