New National President for RSA
The GPTCA has inked an agreement that will allow John-Laffnie de Jager to assume the position of National President for the Republic of South Africa.
John-Laffnie de Jager is a former professional player. He competed in 45 Grand Slams, including two finals and five semi-Finals. Today he is the South African Davis Cup-captain, Fed Cup Captain and Olympic Tennis Coach. As a World Team Tennis coach, he won the Overall Coach of the Year-award three times in the last four years.
"It is great to join forces with the GPTCA and assume the role of President of South Africa. It is very important for all coaches of such a traditional tennis nation to be up to date with Professional tennis and I am looking forward to organize a course soon," de Jager said upon signing the agreement.
