C and B Level Course in Egypt Completed
The GPTCA C and B Level Course was held at Tawfikia Sporting Club in Cairo, Egypt, on 15-17 January, 2016. 26 coaches took part in a three-day course certified by ATP. 19 coaches received their GPTCA C-Level diplomas upon the successful completion, and seven coaches advanced from C to B Level.
The course speakers included Tamer El Sawy (GPTCA National President of Egypt), Fabrizio Caldarone (Tennis and Business Consultant) and Khaled El Sergany (International Umpire).
“I would like to thank Mr Fabrizio Caldarone for his time, experience and tremendous attitude, my director Mido El Sheikh for his help in making this event possible, and also our coach Atef Alabyad for giving the GPTCA a home that makes us proud,“ said Tamer El Sawy, the GPTCA National President of Egypt. “I had an honour and pleasure to spend three days with these wonderful people and great coaches. With them, the Egyptian tennis will survive the tough times,“ he added.
